Happy Two Months Old, Hulali!

It helps when your daughter is a photo editor...Isnt this just about the most beautiful mother and daughter picture you have seen? Poor Hulali had FOUR (yes, count them, FOUR) shots yesterday in honor of her two month check up. As sad as that is, it is a small price to pay for immunity against horrific childhood diseases. According to her mommy, she was a TROOPER and now weighs a whopping 9 pounds 6 oz and is getting taller! That still puts her 2 pounds short of her favorite Uncle Kalena's birth weight. YIKES! Happy two months old, Hulali! Good job, La'i! (and Koa)

Kuku Bear

Did you meet Ku yet? Ku is Hulali's brother! We like to call him Kuku Bear. He's a great brother AND he is a kindergartener at Kailua Elementary where his main responsibility is keeping his teacher on her TOES!!!! GOOD LUCK, MRS. KUKU BEAR'S TEACHER! It's going to be a challenge for her because little does she know, but he is a GENIUS IN DISGUISE. Yes, sirree, he is. This is a picture of Ku with his dad (a.k.a. baby daddy) at school! YIPPEEE!

You can always count on Uncles to teach naughty things...

You can always count on SOMEONE in your 'ohana to be there to teach your children bad habits. Apparently in this family that "someone" is Uncle Kalena. Notice how he relishes the fact that Hulali has mastered the art of sticking out her tongue. What a proud uncle. His job is done. He can go home now.

HI GRANDPA!!!

Here is Hulali in her first visit to her great grandpa and from the looks of it, I think she likes him!

Korean Food is EVERYONE'S favorite

It's no secret that everyone in our family LOVES LOVES LOVES Korean food. And without even a smidgen of TASTE (not yet anyways, until it gets processed through the milk ducts) you can see the delight in Hulali's eyes. Either that or she is just so taken with her mother's attention. Nothing like being able to enjoy your meal with an infant next to you. Needless to say, she ended up at her mom's bosom a few minutes later.

By the way, did I tell you my little precious honey angel darling cutie pie is already sleeping through the night? YESSIRREEEE! Just like her mama did. and her aunties and her uncle. Yup. through the night. Genetics it must be. Of course her mommy doesn't get a wink of rest during the day but who cares when you can get a good night's sleep! Only thing bothering her mama is a full set of you know whats ready to burst in the a.m.!

Who loves to 'au'au?

Nothing like having a baby who loves getting nice and clean, especially in the Kailua heat! Always amazed at how my baby LOVES to smile...life must be great as a baby.
