I am so stuck on the "food" genre that I am going crazy. And now after reading this book, I am craving a little nook of a bakery, complete with espresso machine and chocolate croissants (or is it because I watched "It's Complicated" at the movies yesterday). Confections was penned by the little sister of Sandra Bullock and while a smidgen of her success may have been attributed to her sister, one of my favorite actresses, the bulk of it comes from her ability to bake in the oven her memories from her youth. It's a great story of family, food, and following your dreams.
